2025/3/11, Inventchip Technology launched a 1200V 9mΩ silicon carbide (SiC) half-bridge power module (IV1B12009HA2L) in 1B package. This module provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for applications such as photovoltaic, energy storage, and charging piles. The product has passed industrial-level reliability tests.
This product (IV1B12009HA2L) has the same dimensions as the Easy 1B package. Its housing is compact, with a height of only 12mm. The internal chips of the module are arranged on a direct copper bonding (DCB) substrate, which has an internal insulation function. It can be directly attached to the heat sink without the need for an additional ceramic insulation gasket, ensuring safety, reliability, and better heat dissipation. Meanwhile, the module is equipped with a spring mount for easy assembly, and the integrated mounting clip makes the installation firm.With these design features, the 1200V SiC half - bridge module in 1B package is well-positioned to meet the demands of various high - performance power applications.

Module Topology
This product features a half-bridge circuit composed of built-in 1200V 9mΩ SiC MOSFET chips. It has low stray inductance, which simplifies the design of the application circuit. Compared with the discrete device solution, it enhances the power density. Additionally, a negative temperature coefficient thermistor (NTC) is integrated to monitor the temperature.
This product is equipped with a Kelvin source pin, which can suppress the driving voltage spike during the high-speed switching of the SiC MOSFET, ensuring the safety and reliability of high-frequency switching applications.

This module adopts Inventchip Technology's second-generation planar gate 1200V SiC MOSFET chips, which offer excellent performance and reliability. They support a turn-on voltage range of +15V to +18V and a turn-off voltage range of -3.5V to -2V, with a rated current of 100A.
